Terms of Service

Last updated: 09.06.2026

These Terms apply to your use of Photon, a Windows desktop app for PC performance diagnostics and optimization guidance.

1. License Access

Photon requires a valid license or access key. Your license is personal and may not be shared, resold, rented, or transferred without permission.

Access may be limited by subscription duration, device activation, supported app version, and license status.

2. Device Binding

Photon may bind your license to your device to prevent unauthorized sharing. If you change hardware or reinstall Windows, you may need to request a device reset.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Share, sell, leak, or resell license keys
  • Bypass, tamper with, or abuse the license system
  • Reverse engineer, crack, modify, or redistribute Photon
  • Abuse the API, Discord bot, or download system
  • Use Photon for illegal or harmful purposes

4. Fix Actions

Photon scans are read-only. Fix actions only run when you choose to apply them.

You are responsible for reviewing any fix before applying it. Some recommendations may require manual changes outside the app.

5. No Guaranteed Results

Photon provides diagnostics and optimization guidance. We do not guarantee any specific FPS increase, latency reduction, temperature improvement, or performance result.

6. Payments and Refunds

Photon is a digital product. All purchases are final once a license or access key has been delivered, redeemed, or activated.

No refunds, returns, or exchanges are offered unless required by law.

7. Bans and Revocation

We may suspend, ban, revoke, or cancel access if a license is abused, shared, resold, tampered with, or used in violation of these Terms.

8. Updates and Availability

Photon may require updates to continue working. Access may be blocked for outdated versions, revoked versions, maintenance, or security reasons.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

9. Third-Party Services

Photon may use third-party services such as Discord, hosting providers, and website infrastructure. These services have their own terms and privacy policies.

10. Limitation of Liability

Photon is provided as-is. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not liable for lost profits, lost data, system issues, game issues, downtime, or indirect damages.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Photon after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
